I’ve been teaching harp professionally for 3 years.

Most of my teaching takes place on a one to one basis allowing me to tailor my lessons to individual students’ learning methods. I have a student base in Carmarthen, where I teach on a Monday and Tuesday, and Llantrisant, where I teach for the rest of the week. I currently have 18 students varying in age from 5 to 71. I teach all levels of playing from absolute beginners to experienced harpists.

I am happy to guide students through the ABRSM graded examination system, for which I have an 100% pass rate, or to teach a more informal student-led syllabus. My lessons usually last for half, three-quarters, or a full hour depending on students’ needs (and parents’ pockets!)
I also encourage my students to attend my harp ensemble class where we enjoy learning in an informal and sociable setting. We hold master-classes, play group pieces, study improvisation go on trips and invite other professional musicians to share their expertise.
I have a large selection of harps for students to use during lessons, which are also available to rent. Click here to see them.
