Jimmy Ottley

Jimmy Ottley is a musician and teacher based in Cardiff. He graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2009 studying cello. Since graduating he has been regularly performing, recording and teaching both in schools and privately. Jimmy mostly teaches whole class music in primary schools, using an array of instruments including ukuleles, guitars, harps, drums, double bass, violin and voice. This is where he first started using the ipad as a music education tool and he now uses it regularly in teaching and performance which has helped to push the boundaries of his music. Jimmy is a versatile musician who enjoys playing a range of genres including classical, jazz, free improvisation, folk and electronic music. Jimmy is adept at working with others, helping them develop in confidence as musicians and finding their inner talents and creativity.
